Sometimes, after getting side-tracked from my studies, I look at facebook profiles of people I used to know, live with, or date. I see what they are like now, what they used to be like, how I remembered them, and how they have changed since.
Then I close facebook because I get overwhelmed with old thoughts and new ones of the 'what ifs.' like, what if i didn't know them then, but met them today, what would I think of them, what would they think of me?
...and then it leads me back to my own facebook profile. I flip through my information and my pictures. Looking at where i am now, and where I have been. Over the years. over the last year. since spring term. since this summer.
What were my thoughts then, what are they now? What were my life goals then, what are they now, did i know that I would be where I am now... then?
What would happen if I met back up with these old friends, keeping all pasts intact: what would they think of me now?
